I'm going to cheat this year and send my christmas card by posting it on the blog for the family.
Dear Family,
I sit here typing you this family letter with the hum of fans and dehumidifiers. Last week we almost lost our home to a fire. It was quite a scene for our sleepy neighborhood. Everyone got out and the biggest damage is to the outside of the house near the fireplace where the fire started. We were very fortunate.
Kevin was diagnosed with thyroid cancer so in May he went under the knife and had his entire thyroid removed. The good new is 100% cure rate but it was a difficult few months.
Our oldest Jared is a 6th grader and is playing basketball. Our second son Aaron was baptized after overcoming his fear of the water. Samuel our third son is a great reader and Andrew our baby started kindergarten this year.
Kevin and I celebrated our 14th anniversary this year and I think this has been the hardest year of our lives but also one of the most rewarding. Our friends and families have pulled together to show us love and devotion that is inspirational.
We are so grateful for our many blessing this holiday season, it has been a year of growth, change, and learning. We are excited to see what adventures await us in the new year.
